The Code of Leadership

Along with external focus, expansion and positioning in the market, the internal environment evolution is an important dimension that must be proactively designed and implemented.

LEADERSHIP is a corner stone in designing as well as maintaining organizational culture and identity while pursuing ambitious goals. LEADERSHIP is not a mystery, an intangible touch or just a talent. Leadership is a discipline that can be structurally studied and actively implemented and nurtured.

This training activates “The Code of Leadership” in you as a leader as well as in the whole team. this is achieved via the following methodology:

  • Assesing the current leadership style of the participant. The training starts after participants have their leadership competencies individually assessed.
  • Exploring the core concepts of leadership at the deep conceptual as well as motivational levels, then linking these concepts to the behavior and performance levels.
  • Based on the individual assessment report and the concepts explained above, we work on developing a customized leadership workbook for each participant to be used as a job guide after course. This is simply a “Show me/Help me” day to day tool to make sure the training benefits are transferred to the work daily practice.
  • Duration : 2 Days
  • Deliverables : personal assessment report, material, and workbook.

Persuasive Presentations

Persuasive Presentations

Having a brilliant idea, a noble initiative or a great plan is a great start. BUT… unless you can convey it effectively to the stake holders and get their “buy-in”, it stays as a nice “could be” idea. Persuading audience to a decision is very specific to the culture of this audience. What work in the western world doesn’t necessarily mean it works in Egypt or the Middle East. It is a different area, different culture, different audience groups, so it must be different presentations techniques.

Conducting successful presentations is not only about your body language, your tone and posture. It is not only about how attractive your idea is. It is about how to persuade the audience to make up their minds and support your idea, how to motivate the audience to take a decision you need them to take. Simply to BUY in.

According to our philosophy at SHIFT, we don’t believe in the copied theoretical knowledge that is not guaranteed to work in our region, we follow our slogan … FROM KNOWLEDGE TO PERFORMANCE. Our Persuasive presentations course takes you through a practical tour on how to build an effective persuasive presentation and leave an impact  on the audience like no other.

In this workshop we tackle:

  • What is specific about our region’s audience groups
  • Building culturally fit presentation
  • The Presentation core
  • The tools
  • The presenter
  • The audienc

Communication to the roots

Communication is the process of sharing values, information, thoughts, and feelings between people through speaking, writing,

or body language. Effective communication means that the transmitted content is received and understood by someone in

the way it was intended. On the other hand, communication is a measurable quality that allows you to build your ideas on a concept, understand others, assess behaviors, acquire information, and achieve results. Most of the outcomes in our lives and in

business depend mainly on our interaction; and interaction is a matter of communication quality that is totally different from the

displayed (behavioral) communication skills. That is to say, sometimes the way we communicate does not clearly express what

we really value; it does not carry the intended meaning and does not get the expected response from whom we communicate with. In this program, we develop participants’ communication quality and skills to consciously promote their interaction with others in the workplace and in the social context

Outlines:

• What is communication?

• Why do we communicate?

• What are communication skills?

• Two main pillars for good communication

• Three phases to complete the communication circuit

• Major types of people

• Personality types and key for opening

• Me as a sender

• Me as a receiver

• What blocks people from effective communication?

• Active listening as an essential skill

• Attitude and communication

• Indicators of communication quality
